About Us

First and foremost, we are not marine biologists; we are shark enthusiasts who absolutely love all things sharks. Our goal with SAN is to raise awareness about sharks and to share interesting stories, videos & photos that you may not have seen before.

We encourage comments via our Facebook page and appreciate hearing everyone's viewpoint regarding the different issues facing sharks. We just ask that you be respectful of everyone's opinions and keep all comments child friendly.

Please realize that we do share the good, the bad, the ugly and the beautiful when it comes to sharks. Just because we post a certain story does not necessarily mean we agree with the content. Our objective in sharing a wide range of content is to shed light on the topics which ultimately allows readers the chance to form their own opinions.

And to the folks who may ask why we posted a certain image/story, we respond by saying that if we didn't share something, it does not mean that it never existed. Raising awareness by providing information is always a good thing.
